All the AC-powered chargers that we offer are designed to plug directly into a 120-110 volt AC outlet. All are low-impedance chargers, and all are UL listed. The shocking power of all those suited to repelling deer ranges from weak (the Dare Enforcer 300) to strong (the Parmak Range Master).
Dare Enforcers 300, 600, and 1200 Low Impedance Electric Fence Chargers
The Dare Enforcer series of electric fence chargers features all-weather construction and modular circuitry for fast and easy service. The UL listed Enforcer 300, with 0.75 stored joules, is designed to maintain a high joule output under difficult electric fence conditions. For this reason it can outperform electric fence chargers that have considerably higher stored joule ratings. The charger comes with built-in lightning protection, instructions, and a one-year warranty covering both defects and lightning damage. A flashing light indicates whether the charger and fence are working properly. The UL listed Enforcer 600 and 1200 also come with lightning protection, instructions, a one-year warranty, and a flashing light. The main difference between them and the Enforcer 300 is that they have two or four times the shocking power (1.5 and 3.0 stored joules, respectively). Like the Enforcer 300 they maintain a high level of output under difficult ohm load conditions.
