Instructions for Using Our Electric Fence Planning Guides Below Many people coming to the Deer-Shock Depot will be planning an electric deer fence for the first time, and many others will be looking for background planning information about specific electric fence components. Therefore, this web site contains two sections dedicated to electric fence planning. One, the Fence Options Section (see below) describes various types of electric deer fence and their uses. Our other planning section, the Product Selection Guide (see below) provides background information about specific kinds of electric deer fence components. It begins with electric fence chargers and proceeds in turn to electric fence batteries, hookup wire, posts, conductors, insulators, gates, ground rods, deer attractants, and voltage testers in that order. An index at the end of each subsection makes it easy to skip from one area of interest to another. Our suggestion, if you are new to these pages and electric deer fence, is that you first peruse the Fence Options section before going on to portions of the Product Selection Guide that could be helpful.
